Browsers vary in their ability to properly react to HTML codes; monitors and graphics cards vary in the number of pixels and colors they can display. It's virtually impossible to design a page which will display properly on all variations of equipment and software, unless the designer stays with a very simple layout, avoiding most of the techniques which enhance the message. The challenge for the designer is to create a Web site, using the right mix of language statements, which will display properly for most of the intended audience. |
